Gifts for St Clements Food Bank

We wanted to give our support on National Food Bank Day.

Terry, Jeanette, and Valerie enjoyed a short trip to St Clements Church Hall, to drop off a variety of food gifted by staff and residents’ families. We helped unpack the food into the storeroom and Reverend Mo told us about all the support given to local families in need over the past ten years.

Everyone was invited to sit and have a nice cuppa with a slice of homemade cake. We were made very welcome and invited to come again. On the way back, residents enjoyed singing along to some Bing Crosby. “How lovely to be part of this,” exclaimed Valerie. “It all went very well,” added Terry.
