Just like old times!

Resident Jeanette Macklin talked about how she used to go to Poole Dolphin Centre and have a cuppa in the ‘Clipper’ Restaurant quite often.

We arranged a trip for Jeanette and a few other residents and landed ourselves a cooked breakfast accompanied by a cuppa too!

Not only did Jeanette enjoy visiting her favourite café, but she also saw a member of staff called Alison who approached Jeanette and said “hello! long-time no see” and proceeded to explain that she remembered Jeanette well, as she used to go into the café often. We are sure that we will go there again very soon and squeeze in some retail therapy too. “I used to catch the bus regularly into Poole” Jeanette exclaimed, as she recognised the bus station in Poole when we were on our way back home.
