Music Group

We had an amazing time at our Music Group with our Music & Arts Partner, Fiona.

It was a sensory music and movement session, where a group of residents explored different musical sounds. One delightful moment was captured in a photo, showing Jean tapping her toe with ease and a big smile on her face.

We used cymbals to allow residents to create their own unique sound, and Chris particularly enjoyed making crash and bang sounds! We also had a shaman drum, believed to be a sound healing tool, and together, we tapped it with various drumsticks, creating deep and soulful sounds.

During the session, we sang two Cliff Richard songs, ‘Congratulations’ and ‘Living Doll,’ which brought joy to everyone. To top it off, we formed three groups, each with a bell, ready to chime in when signalled while singing ‘We are sailing’ to conclude the session. It was a fantastic morning, filled with fun and smiles from all the residents.
