Pancake Day Fund

Residents and staff had a great time flipping their pancakes in the air today.

Jean exclaimed that it was the best pancake she had ever tasted! Frank had a good attempt and challenged me to toss mine up to the ceiling! Gladys was laughing and decided to give it a try too.

Nurse Catherine proved to be a pro and only dropped hers on the floor once, but managed to save it just in time before our companion puppy, Dave the Dachshund, could snatch it away! Even our hairdresser, Candie, joined in the fun!

Pancake Day, also known as Shrove Tuesday, is traditionally celebrated 47 days before Easter and marks the last opportunity to use up eggs and fats before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday.
