Percussion Fun

Canford School students join us every Monday for a percussion party! 

We are becoming very good at using our percussion instruments and drumsticks. Some of our favourite songs to play along to include: A Whole Lot of Shakin’ Goin’ On by Jerry Lee Lewis, When You’re Smiling by Micheal Bublé, and When the Saints Go Marching In. 

Residents make a lovely two-four beats or tap along, creating a lovely sound together – we learnt these techniques from our Music and Arts Partner, Fiona. 

This is a good hand, mind, coordination activity, and most importantly – great fun!
