Scarecrow Remake at The Retreat

Residents gathered in The Retreat to help remake our scarecrow for Halloween. 

Valerie made sure the straw was ready for Terry, who was happy to stuff the scarecrow and strap its new boots on. Pip enjoyed spectating and found watching very funny. 

Enid, Elizabeth, Barrie, and Hobi enjoyed watching the character come to life. Meanwhile, Colin put the t-shirt over the scarecrow and Brian helped by standing the scarecrow upright whilst it was being stuffed and dressed.  

Roxy the dog was also keen to join in and further entertained residents!

Overall, our mission was a great success and a wonderful sensory and social activity for our residents.
