Spring Dried Flower Art

Last week, the residents engaged in a simple yet delightful activity.
They dried out some daisies using parchment paper and a microwave and used them to create a spring collage this morning. The activity utilised garden flowers, including daisies and dandelions, which were arranged and displayed by the residents themselves. The display was framed using a card and tape, and the residents are eagerly anticipating the forthcoming months, when they can use more colourful flowers for similar activities.
Valerie suggested that they could create a collage for each season, and Beryl promptly named this creation a Spring Collage. This activity was both enjoyable and stimulating, offering a chance for residents to engage their senses and connect with the garden’s flowers during this time of year. They were also able to enjoy each other’s company over a cup of tea.
