Trip to Poole Park

What a wonderful sunny afternoon we had in Poole Park!

Residents Tony, Pam, Steve, Bill, and Chris, along with Chris’ partner Steve enjoyed an afternoon trip to Poole Park.

It was a sunny warm day so we decided to stop by the lake to feed the swans and ducks. Chris and Steve recalled the many happy days they spent having a picnic and walking around the park. Tony and Pam also visited the park quite regularly and enjoyed going for a walk and observing all the birds. Tony even remembered visiting the old zoo opened to the public in 1963.

Bill said, “What a great afternoon; let’s do it again and next time we’ll bring a picnic and stay for the whole day!”
