Win’s Very Happy Birthday

Our beautiful resident Winifred turned 103 years young. 

We celebrated with entertainment from ‘The Land Girls’ which was great fun. Win sang along to all the songs, including ‘I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles‘ by Vera Lynn – which is one of her favourites.

Residents waved Union Jack’s and sang along with Win. We also sang our own rendition of ‘Happy Birthday,’ before tucking into a lovely piece of birthday cake each! Win told us her favourite cakes are sweet mince pies – which we were delighted to give to her among her other presents!
