The Sewing Club

Today, residents rekindled their love of sewing, and together we made some rather gorgeous fabric flowers.

The pattern was simple and effective, using two different patterned materials and a basic running stitch, which were gathered to create the flowers. Each one was finished with a cute wooden button.

Our ladies were thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed the sewing table. Not only were they making something beautiful, but it also became a great place for a natter, and we certainly covered a wide range of topics in conversation.

The flowers will be sold at the NGS Open Garden event next weekend.
