The Role Of Care Home Manager
Our Care Home Managers are integral to the successful operation of our nursing homes. They are responsible for ensuring that the daily activities within the home meet our high-quality standards and comply with the external regulatory requirements of the CQC. They are the Registered Manager with CQC.
They oversee the provision of care and services, developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing budgets and finances, recruiting and training staff members, and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, carers, and other community contacts.
Our Care Home Managers play a critical role in creating and implementing a vision for their home that focuses on continuous improvement and the best possible individual outcomes for residents. This involves working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and professional contacts, as well as fostering positive relationships with residents and their families.
Building Your Care Home’s Profile
Your reputation says it all. Our main source of referrals are from friends and family. Care Home Managers are responsible for building and maintaining community contacts, s in the local area so we are the provider of choice when there is a need for a care home be it short stay or permanent.
Support is on hand with our extensive in-house support teams of clinical and quality assurance managers, operations managers, marketing, hotel services, recruitment. HR, learning and development and facilities support. All support functions are on hand to help you make our homes great places to live and work.

Your Experience For the Role
For the position of Home Manager, it is crucial to have extensive experience managing large and diverse teams in a comparable setting, along with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage effectively.
We’d love to hear from you if you have the passion and knowledge to lead a multi-disciplinary team. Working in the healthcare sector can help but it’s not essential. Many management roles have transferable skills. Being a people person, an excellent communicator, an eye for detail, open, honest and committed to wanting the best are all qualities we are looking for with an opportunity to develop into the wider operational team.
