We’re delighted to speak to people who have not worked in care before. If you have a positive, caring attitude, enthusiasm and a passion for helping others, we can provide the induction and training to set you up for success looking after our residents.
We want to provide you the very best start in your new role with us, equipping you with essential skills and training ahead of your arrival in your new role.
All of our new starters will go through our induction academy that provides a positive transition into your new role. The Induction Academy features an initial week based in a central learning environment where we explain our values and expectations, offer a warm welcome into the organisation and discuss what the first few days of work are going to be like.
We then provide you ongoing support through your first few weeks in our homes and ensure that you have everything you need to succeed in your new role.
Colten Care has a dedicated and experienced in-house learning and development team who are committed to help you develop and succeed in your role.
We offer a range of learning and development opportunities that can open up new career paths in care.
We have a clear career structure for Healthcare Workers. We offer the chance to complete a QCF Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, which could lead to promotion as a Senior Care Lead, as well as nursing apprenticeships where you can become a qualified nurse.
With a wide variety of roles across the Colten Care, staff are also able to move across the business into new roles. The skills that you learn in your role can help you to succeed in another. So you may start as a Health Care Assistant and move on to become a Customer Service Advisor should you wish.
