Hidden Gem

Monday’s minibus trip to Ham Common gave excitement to the residents, with some commenting that they had never known what was beyond Rockley Park – hence the title ‘Hidden Gem’ when Ham Common came into view!

Despite the blustery weather, Harold, Wendy, Albert & Judy were keen to hop out of the bus to have a better view of Ham Common and the nature reserve.

Albert & Judy chose to take in the view and enjoy the fresh air. Harold and Wendy came prepared with their binoculars for a spot of bird watching.

Then, we headed back to the bus for a hot drink to relax and warm ourselves up.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their trip and they hope to come back to Ham Common again in the summer for a picnic.

In the meantime they have a postcard to remember their trip.
