Our Home

Braemar Lodge is a distinctive and delightful home where residents are encouraged to lead the fullest possible lives. It’s very much part of the community in the historic city of Salisbury, sitting in leafy award-winning gardens with fabulous views of the city and its famous cathedral. Though it has the grace and scale of a large Victorian villa, Braemar Lodge was purpose-built for residential and nursing care, offering first class accommodation alongside flexible care and support.

The home is part of Colten Care, an independent and family-run company determined to set the highest standards in all aspects of care for the elderly. With our simple, all-inclusive pricing structure, there are no hidden extras or non-refundable deposits.

Our Garden

We pride ourselves on our beautiful and stimulating gardens. We recognise that many of our residents had such gardens themselves, and that gardening may have been a special pastime for them. We like to think that we can offer residents the opportunity to continue that pastime in whatever way they feel appropriate.

Supporting Charities

Last year, despite the challenges we faced, Colten Care still raised over £14,000 for various charities, with Braemar Lodge contributing £558.21.  Alongside money raised, we also supported local Foodbanks and local ICU's. This year, our home will be supporting The Pantry Partnership.
