We take care of the daily housekeeping and maintenance responsibilities so our residents don’t have to. Feeling warm and safe in our homes and having peace of mind are just two of the benefits our residents enjoy from the personally tailored care we provide.
Housekeeping & Laundry
Our aim is to make residents feel they are in a home from home. We will take all preferences into consideration with regards to how residents like their room to be cleaned, or if there are certain areas they don’t want to be disturbed.
Providing the utmost respect for our residents’ private space, our housekeepers carefully clean rooms and en-suites including residents’ own keepsakes such as pictures and ornaments.
We do all laundry in the home except dry cleaning. Our Laundry team make comfort and care their top priority, ensuring personal clothing, bed linen and towels are kept clean, fresh and changed regularly.
In line with resident requests, personal clothing is carefully laundered, ironed, folded and returned to the resident’s room on a daily basis.
Maintenance
Our maintenance team provide the highest standards of maintenance to the home in which our residents, staff and visitors live, work and visit. Keeping our residents safe and comfortable is at the heart of everything we do.
We will always make time for an individual resident, addressing any questions they might have, and we are on hand to provide practical help, support, advice and reactive repairs.
Our ethos is to make sure everything in the home is safe and in good working order.

Nutritious Mealtimes
Food and drink are critical to our well-being in so many ways. Our chef will provide a diet that is not only full of choice, but is also wholesome, nutritious, well-balanced and right for our residents.
Hobbies & Interests
We understand that staying physically and mentally active can have a profound effect on our wellbeing. Our home has a dedicated Companionship Team whose role within the home is to plan, organise and deliver an exciting and engaging programme of activities specifically tailored to the wishes of residents be that in large groups, small groups or simply one on one time.
Music & Arts
Music and the arts play an important and powerful part in all our lives. Whether it be through music, movement, storytelling, singing, drama, reading or writing poetry, our home offers each resident the opportunity to explore the many ways in which music and creative arts can enrich their wellbeing.
Minibus Trips
Our home has regular access to one of our four modern and well-equipped minibuses. The professional drivers liaise with the Companionship Team and residents to understand their preferences and provide access through half-day or full-day trips, getting out and about to enjoy the local sights, often taking packed-lunches, snacks, hot coffee and tea.
Your Garden
The gardens at Belmore Lodge are a cherished space that is enjoyed by many throughout the year. Whether you prefer to sit and relax in the tea house while taking in the stunning views of the perennial borders or you’re eager to lend a hand to our skilled gardener in the raised beds, there’s something for everyone here.
