Easter Sunday started with morning worship with our residents, with Pauline a member of our staff conducting our service & communion. Brian from the Companionship Team visited our residents, and delivered some lovely, assorted Easter eggs. In the afternoon residents were entertained by Simon Woodley live on zoom, playing classics from stage shows, pop music from ABBA and special requests of old favourites from our residents. After the showstoppers, we enjoyed afternoon tea arrived, with some homemade Simnel cake, made by our Bourne View chefs. At around 4pm the Companionship Team started the Easter Raffle, where we had 30 prizes up for grabs. There was lots of winners, one of our main prizes was a large Easter egg donated by Lewis Manning Hospice, to win the large egg we had to guess how many eggs in the cookie jar! We had great fun guessing! What a lovely afternoon we all had. The raffle raised £170.40, which is going to our charity for this year. Happy Easter to one and all from all at Bourne View!
