Down The Rabbit Hole

We recently hosted an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed day at Canford Chase.

It was a day brimming with activities that tied into the theme, including crafts and quizzes. Later in the day, we even watched the Tim Burton version of the movie, which offered a different perspective compared to the Disney version.

In the afternoon, we ventured down the rabbit hole into the ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party,’ where we were greeted by The Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit. There, we indulged in a delightful feast of sweet treats, cakes, chocolates, and perhaps a doughnut or two, all accompanied by Gin & Lemonade.

Residents praised the efforts of the staff, from the elaborate costumes to the whimsical decorations, and expressed how pleasant it was to relax and engage in conversations with each other.
