Produce Show Visit To Braemar Lodge

On Thursday, we enjoyed a delightful day out at one of our sister homes Braemar Lodge.

They were hosting a produce showcase day, giving us the opportunity to proudly display what we had prepared for the seasonal produce show.

It was lovely to see residents from other homes, some of whom we had met at previous showcase events.

We gathered in the library for tea and coffee, enjoying a chance to chat before indulging in a delicious lunch together in the dining room.

Some of us opted for a treasure hunt indoors, while others, like Margo and Heather, our companions, braved the rain to explore the garden, admiring the beautiful plants and statues while stretching our legs.

We concluded the day with a presentation of our products.

We had prepared a Hedgerow sloe gin, while others had crafted mosaic bird bowls.

It was a lovely outing for all involved.
