Minibus Trip to Compton Abbas

David had been looking forward to a trip to Compton Abbas Airfield for a while now.

Despite foggy weather conditions on the day, we were ready. Sadly, the Spitfire display was unable to take place, but resident David was keen to try a pint of the beer made at the local Gritchie Brewery, which is also run by the film director Guy Ritchie, as is the airfield.

In fact, getting out despite the weather made for great conversation and a good laugh over a pint and a meal! David said upon arriving back at Abbey View, “I so enjoyed my day! That was absolutely wonderful!”
