A Surprise Delivery From Buckingham Palace
Today was Betty Perry’s 104th birthday.
She recently told Ann that she did not receive a card from the Queen to celebrate her 100th birthday.
So, as a surprise for Betty, Ann contacted Buckingham Palace to arrange a card, which arrived on the morning of her birthday!
Betty was delighted and overwhelmed by both the card and the beautiful cake and presents from the team at Abbotts Barton.
The card from Buckingham Palace is now proudly displayed in her room.
Betty expressed her gratitude by saying “I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be to celebrate my birthday!”
