Easter nest cakes

We decided it was time to get into the Easter spirit and began making chocolate Easter nest cakes.

Caroline, Kay, Pam, Shirley, Janet, Auriol and Jenifer made the cakes using shredded wheat, chocolate and mini eggs.

None of the residents had made these nests before and were excited to see the outcome!

Everyone commented on how delicious it smelt and Jenifer suggested “maybe we ought to try it, just to test it!”

Once the cakes had set in the fridge they were served to the residents after supper.
