The Mayfly

We took the minibus out to Stockbridge today for a visit to The Mayfly, a picturesque pub right at the edge of the river.

When we arrived, the sun was out so we decided to stop for a while outside and take in the fresh air and lovely views. There are lots of trout in the river there, which we had a good look for, but didn’t succeed in spotting any!

We went inside, sat at our cosy table, and decided what to have from the impressive menu; there was so much to choose from, it was hard to decide!

The food was delicious, and drinks and conversation flowed. Barry Baker said, “It’s been delightful, I would certainly come here again.”
