  • My mother became a resident at Wellington Grange in 2016, shortly after the home opened. The manager and reception staff are very friendly and welcoming; all of the care staff and nurses are extremely caring, and the housekeeping staff provide an excellent service. The chef’s and catering staff provide top-class meals with a good choice and attention to individual resident’s requirements. The home is a lovely environment, with great garden for residents to relax in.

  • Wellington Grange is a very comfortable and attractively decorated building with a beautiful and well fenced garden. It is very efficiently run. But above all, it has an extremely kind and caring staff who work above and beyond the call of duty to make it a happy home.

  • The staff are well trained, friendly, caring and understand dementia. The home is managed within strict guidelines and there are regular reviews with the family. Food and drinks appear appetizing and is always available. My mother’s appearance was important to her. This was understood by her carers and she was always smartly dressed, and her hair kept neat and tidy by the visiting hairdresser. My mother’s dementia could not be cured, but the staff at St Catherines View managed my mothers’ condition and gave her the best quality of life in her final years.

  • Throughout the three years, my mother has been cared for at Newstone, I have only had praise for the kindness, cleanliness and professionalism all staff have shown towards mum. Every time I see a smiling face, but if there has been a health problem with Mum, I immediately have a phone call. Green and Red shirts make my mum feel dignified and for that I will always be grateful.

  • Thank you for all your care for my father. Nothing was ever too much trouble; his room and clothes were always looked after with such care and you ensured he had the food that he enjoyed. Thank you for helping to make the last 4 ½ year at Newstone as good as they could be.
