A Trip To The New Forest

The sun was shining, and a warm Spring breeze was upon us today, so our residents opted for a trip out to the New Forest on our weekly minibus adventure, and boy was it a treat!

Not only did we have Frank’s daughter join us to sing along to some sea shanties, but we were also treated to a slew of ponies, and a few donkeys that were grazing their day away, enjoying the sun too.

Lorraine is donkey obsessed and was absolutely thrilled at how beautiful they were. According to Jean’s counting, we saw seventy-five ponies and donkeys in total!

We could not have asked for a better day to take our trip out to the forest, the weather was lovely and definitely on our side!
