Terrariums

We brought out our creative side recently in our gardening club.

We used some beautiful glass orbs and got some indoor gardening done, which we found very therapeutic.

Firstly we added some small pieces of gravel and polished stones in the bottom of the orb, then added some soil, in preparation for the cuttings of shrubs we would add.

Everyone was excited to put their own personal touch to the creations, while taking great care in assembling their own little garden.  No one was shy about getting their hands dirty and they helped each other make their vision come to life.

In a month’s time we will check on them and see how our little microcosm is doing.
