Ideal Location
Woodpeckers is located in Brockenhurst in the heart of the enchanting New Forest. The home is surrounded by free-roaming ponies, donkeys, and even pigs, which often stroll right through the village centre.

Our Home has been a feature for many years and captures the essence of the New Forest. With its charming slopped roofs and intricate detailing, Woodpeckers blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, creating a timeless and elegant look.
Stunning Garden
We have a vibrant gardening community at Woodpeckers. The stunning garden has featured in the National Garden Scheme and boasts of a plethora of interesting points, full and rich plantings, a woodland walk, allotment, and it plays host to a variety of New Forest wildlife.
WELCOMING RECEPTION
The hub of our community, always busy with conversation, laughter and the comings and goings of a vibrant home. You’ll find a fully stucked coffee machine located nearby in the Dining Room, the daily papers and our helpful Administration Team.
MANAGER’S OFFICE
When our Home Manager is not out on the floor talking to residents and supporting the staff team, they can be found in their office doing what it takes to run a happy, safe and secure home.
NURSES STATION
We provide the reassurance of Registered Nursing on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each floor of our home has a Nurses Station for convenience.
PROFESSIONAL KITCHEN
We have a state-of-the-art professional kitchen at Woodpeckers, where our Chef and the catering team work together to serve wholesome, well-balanced meals to delight our residents.
ELEGANT DINING ROOM
Savour delicious meals in a spacious setting that can comfortably seat all residents for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make lasting memories over a meal surrounded by sophisticated style.
COSY LOUNGE
Unwind in a cosy, inviting atmosphere and catch up with loved ones, delve into a good book, or simply relax in peace. Experience the perfect balance of socialising and solitude in a warm and welcoming space.
QUIET ROOM
Available to book for private meetings, or simply relax in peace to read a book or finish that crossword.
LUXURIOUS SALON
One of our most popular facilities is the Hair Salon, which residents can use as they wish to make themselves feel special. Appointments can be booked at Reception for an additional charge.
ADAPTED MINIBUS
We have access to a modern, well-equipped minibus with professional drivers. They liaise with residents to understand their preferences and provide access through half-day or full-day trips.

Spacious, light, warm and comforting, your room can be made home by bringing cherished personal items and furniture with you. Every room has ensuite toilet facilities, and there are a range of options with regards to view and outside access.

YOUR GARDEN
The garden at Woodpeckers offers a feast for the eyes in Summer, as you walk around on its soft intriguing pathways, residents can see the plants and flowers they have cultivated in our regular garden clubs, giving them a sense of ownership over this tranquil haven nestled in the forest.
We recognise many of our residents had such gardens themselves, and gardening may have been a special pastime for them. We offer residents of Woodpeckers the opportunity to continue that pastime in whatever way they feel appropriate.
