  • Our VE celebrations put a smile on everyone's face, we've put together a short film to show you just how much fun we had across our 21 homes!
  • International Dance Day, held on the 29th April each year, celebrates the importance of all genres of dance to improve health and wellbeing. This year our teams and residents celebrated it in our homes, displaying and impressive array of creativity and dance moves!
  • ONE TEAM Residents and staff at all 21 Colten Care homes in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Sussex staged a 'clap for the carers' to show their appreciation of the amazing work done every single day by carers and colleagues.
  • Colten Care homes in the New Forest area took part in a Strictly Come Tea Dance in aid of Children in Need 2018. Each home competed with a different dance style for a chance to win the prize glitter ball!
  • A short film showcasing our inaugural Colten Champions Awards. An internal awards programme, set out to recognise those who consistently deliver above and beyond expectations!
  • As part of an ongoing partnership with the Chewton Glen, twelve of our chefs hone their skills at The Kitchen cookery school, by learning new ways to create well-balanced, colourful and tasty meals for our residents across our 20 care homes.

  • A short 6 minute film to explain the role of residential & nursing homes in care of the older person, featuring contributions from charities, experts, care home staff, residents and their relatives. Our warmest thanks go to all who contributed, making this film possible.
  • The Christchurch Mayor - Honorary Freeman Councillor John Lofts and Mayoress Mrs Margaret Wooley, joined staff, residents, relatives and friends of Avon Reach on the 1st December 2013 for the switch on of the homes fantastic light display. Mince pies, mulled wine and the sounds of a local choir rounded of a wonderful evening.
