Residential & Nursing Care
Cheers to the Henley Regatta boat race, an annual event which would have taken place on Friday, 3rd of July.
We made our own boat race game to celebrate the Henley Regatta, a roll of a dice with a ladder for all the boats to climb, the residents have had a really fun afternoon.
Betty celebrated her 96th birthday today, she was thrilled with all the cards, gifts and best wishes she received.
This morning we played cards followed by Knit & Natter, a lovely relaxing start to the day.
Our residents love to choose their toiletries and treats from our weekly shopping trolley. Betty was very good today and didn't buy any naughty treats!
Today we made boats for our own Royal Henley Regatta boat race that we have planned on Friday. We plan to judge the boats for the best decorated ship and the winner will win a little prize, which one do you think should win?
Doreen joined us a few weeks ago and now is joining in with our activities. This morning she enjoyed our church service from All Saints local church.
Robert and Betty are pleased to see Susie Kimber sing again, she did a wonderful hour via skype. Residents sang along with all the songs as she sang and they really enjoyed it.
