Food and dining

Meals are prepared in the home’s kitchen by trained chefs and supported by the hospitality team, using trusted suppliers to maintain consistency across the week. Dishes are familiar, properly cooked and served at the right time of day. 

Residents may dine in the main dining room, at a quieter table or in their own room, with meals paced so that no one feels hurried. Staff remain attentive to appetite and preference, offering support discreetly where needed so mealtimes remain steady and familiar.

Daily life, with room for choice

The gardens form part of daily life at Belmore Lodge and are maintained by Colten Care’s in-house gardening team with long-term stewardship in mind. Accessibility and resident use are considered throughout the year. 

Paths and seating are arranged to support ease of movement and quiet confidence outdoors. Residents may tend plants, spend time with visitors or simply sit in the fresh air. How the gardens are used remains a personal choice. 

Privacy, dignity and personal space

Personal space is respected as a matter of course. Doors are knocked before entering, conversations are kept private and routines are upheld in ways that reflect individual preference.Support is adjusted quietly as needs change so that residents feel secure without feeling overseen.
