Visiting the Elisabeth’s Frink Exhibition

17 April 2024

Nina and Jane enjoyed a minibus trip to Dorchester Museum recently, to visit the Elisabeth Frink Exhibition.

The exhibition brings together objects from Elizabeth’s public and private collections and celebrates her enduring legacy.

We gained unique perspectives on Frink’s work, which was all done at her home in Woolland, North Dorset.

We looked at some fabulous paintings and sculptures and enjoyed reading the history behind her work.

We were all saddened when we realised that she died at the young age of sixty-two, and the anniversary of her death was on the 18th of April.

We had such a lovely trip, and talked about it for some time afterwards too!

We were also surprised the learn that our hairdresser had done Elizabeth’s hair in the past. After all, she was a local!
