Welcoming Reception
The hub of our community, always busy with conversation, laughter and the comings and goings of a vibrant home. Warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating and friendly staff ready to assist residents and visitors.
Manager’s Office
When our Home Manager is not out on the floor talking to residents and supporting the staff team, they can be found in their office doing what it takes to run a happy, safe and secure home.
Nurses Station
We provide the reassurance of Registered Nursing on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with each floor of our home having a dedicated Nurses Station.
Professional Kitchen
We have a state-of-the-art professional kitchen at Castle View, where our Chef and the catering team work together to serve wholesome, well-balanced meals to delight our residents.
Elegant Dining Room
Savour delicious meals in our Dining Room, a spacious setting that can comfortably seat all residents for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make lasting memories over a meal surrounded by sophisticated style.
Cosy Lounges
We have lounges for residents to unwind in a cosy, inviting atmosphere and sit with loved ones, delve into a good book, or simply relax in peace. Experience the perfect balance of stimulation and solitude in a warm and welcoming space.
Inviting Café
Catch up in one of our cosy and welcoming cafés, where you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee and indulge in delicious homemade treats such as a slice of freshly baked cake.
Hair Salon
One of our most popular facilities is the Hair Salon, which residents can use as they wish to make themselves feel special. Appointments can be booked at Reception for an additional charge.
Hydrotherapy Bath
Our home has a hydrotherapy bath, specially designed to soothe and rejuvenate tired muscles. A comfortable and calming atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and easing any aches and pains
Large Terrace
We have a large terrace with views across the beautiful town of Poundbury and beyond, giving a sense of freedom and space. The perfect spot to enjoy sunshine and fresh air.
Resident Suites
We have five bedroom suites which offer more spacious accommodation with private lounges and kitchenette facilities: The Turret Suite, Thomas Hardy, William Barnes, John Faulkner, and Frederick Treves.
Adapted Minibus
We have access to a modern, well-equipped minibus with professional drivers. They liaise with residents to understand their preferences and provide access through half-day or full-day trips.

Views from the large terrace across the beautiful town of Poundbury and beyond give a sense of freedom and space, with wonderfully planted borders and raised planters for accessibility ensuring full participation and enjoyment by all.
Further gardens wrapping around the home are filled with an array of plants and shrubs providing all year-round interest, and a wonderful herb area for those who love to enjoy the produce from the garden.
We recognise many of our residents had such gardens themselves, and gardening may have been a special pastime for them. We offer residents of Castle View the opportunity to continue that pastime in whatever way they feel appropriate.
