Making Cup Cakes for Mother’s Day

Our residents from each home group, joined Companion Ann Marie and Carer Mel for a group activity of making and baking some pretty cupcakes for Mother’s Day.

Each resident participated in blending the ingredients together in the mixing bowl, then placing some of the mixture into the cupcake cases ready for baking.

We baked a batch of cakes in each house group, you can imagine the smell, it was scrummy!

We finished the cakes off with some bright pink butter icing, which looked lovely. Iris was having so much fun, so much so, she got the giggles for the rest of the afternoon!

We all enjoyed the cakes at our Mother’s Day Party. There were lots of comments on the beautiful colour and the taste!
