Making Hand Made Rainbow Dream Catchers

Artist Joh visits us once a month to take art classes with a small group of our residents.

One of our residents Ed was extremely interested and really enjoyed taking part, asking Joh lots of questions.

Joh started by making a hoop out of natural materials from the garden, then showing Ed how to weave the colourful rainbow wool around the hoop.

Ed picked this up really quickly. Jess one of our carers came over to see what Ed was making, he was so proud of this creation and enjoyed showing it off!

To finish off his dream catcher, Ed chose some colourful feathers and some beads which Joh helped him attach on.

Once it was completed we then helped Ed hang his artwork up in his bedroom.
