A visit to The Boaz Project

Today for our mini bus trip, we had a special visit lined up!

We went and visited The Boaz Project, the charity we are raising money for this year. We were greeted by Stuart, the manager, on arrival and were invited to join everyone for tea and biscuits before looking around.

We talked to the people who use the charity and what it means to them as well as a little talk from Stuart about the charity and how it all started. We were then shown some little lambs who were due a feed, so Sue jumped at the chance to help feed them, saying, “they are very adorable,” while everyone else got to watch and have a little cuddle before or after their feed.

We were then taken around the site to see what they have been doing and watched them box up the eggs from their free-range chickens!! It was a lovely visit and one of many this year.
