Whole Wide World

A residents meeting took place one afternoon with, Valerie, Tony, Jeanette, Margaret, Merve, Maurice and Joyce attending.

Maurice and Joyce came up with the idea to create a picture of the Whole Wide World with everyone’s painted hands in the picture.

Valerie added that it would be lovely to include those helpful young ladies from The Canford School.

Claire and Megan, from Canford School, come and support us each Monday in term times for their qualifications and experience, working alongside individuals with dementia. They both really enjoyed being part of the world in the hands project.

Martin, our Home Manager, completed the canvas art by added his hands to the bottom of the tree.

We are now trying to find a home for our creation!
