From time to time, with the permission of the residents, we shoot short films.

Whether you are a relative, friend or simply someone who is considering care, we hope these short films provide you with an insight and reassurance about life here in our home.
  • Colten Care worked with St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery to create the Sharing Shorelines events for people in the community with dementia. An opportunity to enjoy and discuss art - all captured in poetry.
  • Children from William Gilpin School, visited Linden House, Dedicated dementia care home and shared their memories with residents.

  • Colten Care on BBC South Today, just after a 2 week cycle challenge and just before for a black tie ball, all in aid of Children In Need

  • Linden House, Belmore Lodge and Court Lodge each had an exercise bike set up with a live webcam to get Pudsey home to the BBC studio and back (circa 500 miles). Here is the Linden House journey in just 4 minutes!
  • A short 7 minute film about Colten Care's approach to Dementia Care including experiences kindly shared by relatives.
  • A 10 minute film explaining the role of residential & nursing homes in caring for people living with dementia and memory loss. With contributions from charities, experts, care home staff and relatives of residents. Our warmest thanks go to all who kindly contributed, making this film possible.

  • Residents, relatives, friends, family and team members from Belmore Lodge, Court Lodge, Linden House and Woodpeckers (4 Colten Care homes local to Lymington), come together to enjoy the Carnival. Fun!
  • Residents and families from Belmore Lodge, Court Lodge and Linden House in Lymington attended the beautiful grounds of Woodpeckers Care Home in Brockenhurst, to see team members from all 4 local care homes come together to put on a Mary Poppins themed garden party.
