International Sculpture Day

We recently tapped into our artistic talents here at Avon Cliff as we celebrated ‘International Sculpture Day.’

We decided it would be great to break out the modelling clay, and we were tasked with creating miniature models of ourselves. We began by selecting a variety of colours to determine which ones would best represent our appearances; even this sparked a lively discussion!

Then, we delved into sculpting and moulding the clay into shape. This activity generated plenty of laughter as we realised that clay modelling is much trickier than it appears, and crafting a likeness of oneself out of clay requires a bit of artistic license!

We always relish our creative afternoons, and we eagerly anticipate crafting more models in the future.
