Avon Cliff is located just a short walk from the idyllic coastline of the popular Dorset seaside town of Bournemouth, where you can take in the views of the Jurassic coastline and the Isle of Wight.

Avon Cliff was designed to blend in with the Victorian architecture of the area, featuring open spaces, beautifully landscaped gardens and a distinctive turret which adds character and charm.
Tranquil Garden
Our lovely garden wraps around the home, making full use of the beautifully sunny days in Bournemouth and our coastal position. An oriental inspired area of the garden provides a focal point, with its meandering dry riverbed, water feature and shady planting.
Welcoming Reception
The hub of our community, always busy with conversation, laughter and the comings and goings of a vibrant home. Warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating and friendly staff ready to assist residents and visitors.
Nurses Station
We provide the reassurance of Registered Nursing on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each floor of our home has a Nurses Station for convenience.
Professional Kitchen
We have a state-of-the-art professional kitchen at Avon Cliff, where our Chef and the catering team work together to serve wholesome, well-balanced meals to delight our residents.
Elegant Dining Room
Savour delicious meals in a spacious setting that can comfortably seat all residents for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make lasting memories over a meal surrounded by sophisticated style.
Cosy Lounge
Unwind in a cosy, inviting atmosphere and catch up with loved ones, delve into a good book, or simply relax in peace. Experience the perfect balance of socialising and solitude in a warm and welcoming space.

Catch up in one of our cosy and welcoming cafés, where you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee and indulge in delicious homemade treats such as a slice of freshly baked cake.
Hair Salon
One of our most popular facilities is the Hair Salon, which residents can use as they wish to make themselves feel special. Appointments can be booked at Reception for an additional charge.
Hydrotherapy Bath
Our home has a hydrotherapy bath, specially designed to soothe and rejuvenate tired muscles. A comfortable and calming atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and easing any aches and pains
Adapted Minibus
We have access to a modern, well-equipped minibus with a professional driver. They liaise with residents to understand their preferences and provide access through half-day or full-day trips.
Personalised Bedrooms
Spacious, light, warm and comforting, your room can be made home by bringing cherished personal items and furniture with you. Every room has ensuite bathroom facilities, and there are a range of options with regards to view and outside access.

Our rooms are furnished to a high standard, including comfortable and attractive beds that would meet many hospital standards.
