Channelling Our Vincent

Recently in our arts and crafts session, and knowing that Vincent Van Gogh birthday was approaching, we thought we would look at him in a little more depth.

We discovered lots of interesting trivia about the man and his art.

Facts like he painted 900 paintings in 10 years, and how he was the pioneer of the post-impressionistic selfie amongst other things.

After our fact-finding session, we came together and used some Van Gogh’s brightly coloured artwork as inspiration.

Our proud centenarian Muriel was delighted and proud to share her efforts with us.

Our afternoon session was the perfect antidote to a rainy afternoon.
