When nothing but a cheese scone will do, the mixing bowl must come out!

During a recent chat in the lounge Pat and Sylvia were discussing how much they loved scones.

We looked at all the different scone varieties in the National Trust book, but the consensus was that nothing could beat a freshly baked cheese scone.

So that is just what happened. We all played our part in binding the ingredients together, the scones were baked for us by our chef.

Warm with some butter, they were a hit throughout the home and the repeat orders are in!
