Comfort & community

Sherborne is a beautiful small country town, centred on its ancient Abbey and Schools, its old world shopping streets distinguished by a mellow honey-coloured stone. Abbey View blends carefully into this warm and welcoming ambiance, standing just beyond the central shops with views over the Abbey tower. Although a single building, from the street side it seems like a row of cottages. Purpose built for residential and nursing care it offers modern facilities in a welcoming setting, a family-oriented home at ease with itself, and closely integrated with the friendly and relaxed town community.

In a recent residents survey 90% of residents rated the home good/excellent when asked “Overall how would you rate the quality of care”?

Our Garden

We pride ourselves on our beautiful and stimulating gardens. We recognise that many of our residents had such gardens themselves, and that gardening may have been a special pastime for them. We like to think that we can offer residents the opportunity to continue that pastime in whatever way they feel appropriate.
