Our Donation of Blankets to the Cats Rehoming Centre

Our residents at Amberwood House, past and present, have been knitting squares in all colours and patterns for a while now

We had them for sale all throughout 2023 to raise money for our chosen charity of that year. This year, while still selling them, our residents decided they would like to donate some to the local ‘Cat Protection Rehoming Centre.’ All the cats that are rehomed from the centre go with their very own blanket and toys.

The charity was thrilled to see us and were extremely thankful for the donation. They were kind enough to show us around the centre, the shop, and the cattery.

Hearing about the cats and the volunteers was so interesting; we all enjoyed seeing the cats and hearing about their stories.

I have a feeling we will be visiting the centre again very soon; we were all so taken by the lovely, cheeky cats!
